Josh attended Eastern Illinois University, where he earned a degree in Finance with a specialization in financial planning. After working for 3 years with a regional wealth management firm, Josh joined Bluestem in early 2014 and discovered his passion doing fee-only financial planning. Josh is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, IRS Enrolled Agent and NAPFA Registered Financial Advisor.

As a Lead Advisor at Bluestem, Josh is driven to help clients remove worry from their financial lives through a hands-on, objective approach to financial planning. He believes in helping clients build a strong financial foundation that leads to financial independence and peace of mind. In addition to his work with clients Josh takes an active role in mentoring and training new advisors and student interns.

Outside of work, Josh loves spending time with his wife Jen, their daughter Hagen, son Jepsen, and their English Bulldog, Opie. He also enjoys get-togethers with friends and family and likes to attend sporting events and concerts, exercise, and play the guitar.
